Bio: Although I grew up in central Michigan, I left the Midwest in the 1960s to see the world. In the past 50 years I've visited 30 countries. I worked as a writer, communications director and teacher. Now retired but not too tired, I have written two books: A Thousand Miracles Every Day and most recently TOUGH GUY GENTLE HEART. I am a member of the Society for American Baseball Research, and I cheer for the Tampa Bay Rays. I live in Florida with my husband Carlos and our cats, Duke and Ellie.
